A main house (3 bedrooms) and 2 cute single-room ‘cottages’ make up a stylish little collection of villas just 5 minutes inland from beaches and restaurants at the Eastern end of Ahangama.
Food and drink
A morning at the villa begins with hoppers fresh off the pan — delicate, bowl-shaped rice crepes with crisp golden edges, served alongside creamy coconut sambol and a fiery seeni sambol.
Add a soft egg cracked into the centre, or opt for string hoppers with a fragrant dhal curry and a light fish or chicken curry on the side.
Finish with a pot of fresh Ceylon tea and seasonal fruit — mango, papaya, king coconut — plucked straight from the garden. Simple, unhurried, and full of flavour, it's the perfect start to a slow coastal day.
